Beyond the east doors from the Skull Chapel, a hallway extends to the north and south. The north door leads to a long hall going toward Lhessadrak's residential quarters, while the door on the east wall of this chamber lead into the Lich's library.

The library chamber is 25 feet east-west by 30 feet north-south with three tiers of bookshelves on all four walls and a large wooden reading table at the center. The entry door to the library is on the west wall, while a door leading to the lich's laboratory lies on the east wall.

A large open book sits at the center of the top shelf on the west wall. This contains a geneaology of the Lhessander family with a mention of the lich's daughter, Vhassa and her illegitimate child (whose full name is the same as the chosen PC's great grand father. This book confirms the PCs ancestry.

On the same shelf as the Lhessander Family History tome, lies a plain looking, but noticeably enchanted libram...

The laboratory is the same size as the library chamber before it with cabinets on the west, north and south walls. Against the east wall from north to south sit a brass still, a blood draining table and a stone tub filled with a water like substance containing the dead humanoid remains of a child - presumeably, one of the two missing princes.

Though this chamber does not contain any magic items or treasure, there are a host of various rare spell components within the cabinets on the surrounding walls - worth well over 20,000 gp value.
