The creator of this One Page Dungeon Contest entry.and website is Michael K. Tumey (aka: Gamerprinter).

Michael is a 47 year old lifetime gamer having played D&D in all its iterations since the late 1970's up to 3.5e and many other game systems: Traveler, Space Opera, Runequest, Twilight 2000, H.O.L., Paranoia, Vampire the Masquerade, Aftermath and now playing Pathfinder RPG.

Since I have always been an artist, and now a professional graphic designer with my own private studio - I've never been the fan of Old School maps. Now I know many fans are, but my entire interest in fantasy cartography stems from this very fact - I thought I could do better.

About 3 years ago I came up with the idea of using my shop's large format inkjet printer to provide RPG map printing services for Gamemasters and RPG Publishers, which is how I entered the RPG industry as a professional. I created Gamer-Printshop.com to provide this service. The site has grown to include many publisher maps available in the Ecommerce shop.

Shortly after starting the service I joined the Cartographers' Guild and began participating in monthly challenges and have won four over the past 3 years.

About a year later I began to do commission maps for small RPG publishers including: Dog House Rules, Mongoose Publishing, Mythic Games, Conflict RPG, Iron Crown Enterprises and many individual gamers. In March I have a project with Johnn Four of Roleplaying Tips Newsletter.

Last year I took my first steps to becoming a small RPG publisher. I am working on a commercial setting called Kaidan: a Japanese Ghost Story setting, and have published my first adventure in October 2009, called The Gift. Adventure 2 of the 3 part mini-campaign will be published in April as an imprint under Rite Publishing. The setting and adventures were designed as a Pathfinder RPG Compatable product.
